はじめてのガイド(CapDemon)

1. 動作環境

OSWindows 10 / 11(64bit)
GPU(推奨)NVIDIA の GPU(GTX 1660 Ti・メモリ 6GB で動作確認済み)。GPU があると、文字起こしと音声の合わせ込みが、数倍〜十数倍、速くなります。AMD の GPU は、非対応です。
GPU がない場合NVIDIA の GPU がないと、遅くなります。AMD の GPU は、非対応です。
メモリ8GB 以上(16GB 推奨)
空き容量約 12GB(アプリ 約 2GB + 初回にダウンロードするモデルと部品 約 6GB + 作業用)
インターネット初回の準備と、ライセンスの確認に必要です(動画・音声は、送信しません)。

2. 入れ方

  1. ダウンロードした zip を、好きな場所に展開します(例: C:\CapDemon)。展開先のフォルダ名に、日本語や空白があっても動きますが、ネットワークドライブやクラウド同期のフォルダは、避けてください。
  2. フォルダの中の CapDemon.bat をダブルクリックします。
  3. 初回だけ、準備が始まります(インターネットが必要です)。次のものが自動でダウンロードされます。回線の速さによって、5〜30 分ほどかかります。
    • 文字起こしのモデル(約 3GB)
    • 音声の合わせ込みのモデル(約 1.2GB)
    • NVIDIA の GPU がある場合: GPU 用の部品(約 1.5GB)
    黒い画面が止まって見えても、閉じないでください。CapDemonの画面が開くまで待ちます。
  4. 準備が終わると、CapDemonの画面が開きます。2 回目からは、すぐ開きます。
Windows の警告が出たとき: 「WindowsによってPCが保護されました」(SmartScreen)と出たら、「詳細情報」→「実行」を選びます。「スマート アプリ コントロール」が有効な PC で、起動がブロックされたときは、お問い合わせください。

3. ライセンスキーの入力

  1. 購入後のメールに、ライセンスキー(XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX の形)が書かれています。
  2. 画面の右下の 「ライセンス」 ボタンを押し、キーを貼り付けて、「認証する」 を押します。
  3. キーは、1 つで 2 台まで使えます。使わなくなった PC では、同じ画面の 「この PC の認証を解除」 を押してください(別の PC で使えるようになります)。
  4. キーがなくても、取り込み・編集・確認は使えます。書き出し(XML / SRT など)だけ、認証が必要です。
  5. ライセンスは、1 日 1 回、自動で確認されます。インターネットに繋がらなくても、最後の確認から 7 日間は、そのまま使えます。
  6. サブスクリプションを解約しても、支払い済みの期間の終わりまで、使えます。

4. 基本の使い方

原稿なしで作る(いちばん簡単)

  1. 「新規作成」を押し、動画ファイル 1 本、または、動画の入ったフォルダを選びます。
  2. 「原稿なし」にチェックを入れます(英語の動画は、言語を English にします)。
  3. 作成が終わるまで待ちます。4 分の動画で、NVIDIA の GPU があれば、おおよそ 1〜2 分です。
  4. 画面で、字幕を確認・修正します(文字の修正、行の分け・結合、時刻の調整)。
  5. 「書き出し」で、Premiere 用の XML や SRT を作ります。

原稿がある場合

原稿(txt / パワポ / Word)を一緒に選ぶと、原稿に合わせて字幕を付け、撮り直し(リテイク)の素材を自動でつなぎます。

原稿に書かれた文字は、すべて字幕になります。「約3秒BGM」のような進行メモや、字幕にしたくない文字は、あらかじめ原稿から削除してください。

用語辞書

専門用語を聞き違えやすい動画は、「用語」のプリセットを選ぶと、読みで直ります。聞き違いが残った言葉は、確認画面の「辞書に追加」で、自分の辞書に登録できます(案件ごと、または全体を選べます)。登録した言葉は、次の処理(「再計算」など)から反映されます。

5. こんなとき

症状対処
初回の準備が、途中で止まる / 失敗するインターネットの接続を確認して、CapDemon.bat をもう一度ダブルクリックします(足りないものだけ、やり直します)。会社のネットワークや、セキュリティソフトが、通信を止めていることがあります。
「GPU では動かなかったので、CPU で動かします」と出るNVIDIA のドライバーを、最新にしてください。それでも出る場合は、CPU で動きます(遅くなります)。
文字起こしが遅いNVIDIA の GPU がないと、遅くなります。AMD の GPU は、非対応です。他のアプリを閉じると、少し速くなります。
「ライセンスキーが見つかりません」購入後のメールのキーを、そのまま貼り付けているか(前後の空白・文字の違い)を確認してください。
「台数の上限に達しています」別の PC で、「この PC の認証を解除」してから、もう一度、認証します。
「期限が切れています」サブスクリプションが、終了しています。更新すると、同じキーで、また使えます。
起動しても、画面が開かない黒い画面のメッセージの写真を、お問い合わせのメールに添付してください。

6. アンインストール

  1. CapDemonのフォルダを、削除します。
  2. 設定やキャッシュを消す場合: %LOCALAPPDATA%\CapDemon を削除します(GPU 用の部品もここにあります)。
  3. モデルを消す場合: %USERPROFILE%\.cache\huggingface\hub の中の、models--Systran-- で始まるフォルダを削除します。
  4. 別の PC で使うために、先に「この PC の認証を解除」をしておくと、確実です。

Getting started — CapDemon

1. Requirements

2. Installing

  1. Extract the downloaded zip anywhere (e.g. C:\CapDemon). Avoid network drives and cloud-synced folders.
  2. Double-click CapDemon.bat in the folder.
  3. First run only: the app downloads what it needs (internet required; roughly 5–30 minutes depending on your connection speed):
    • speech recognition model (~3 GB)
    • audio alignment model (~1.2 GB)
    • if you have an NVIDIA GPU: GPU components (~1.5 GB)
    If the black window seems to stand still, do not close it. Wait until the app window opens.
  4. When setup is done, the app opens. From the second launch on, it opens right away.
If Windows shows a warning: for "Windows protected your PC" (SmartScreen), choose "More info" → "Run anyway". If Smart App Control blocks the app, please contact us.

3. Entering your license key

  1. Your purchase email contains the license key (format XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX).
  2. Click the License button at the bottom right, paste the key and click Activate.
  3. One key works on up to 2 PCs. On a PC you no longer use, click Deactivate this PC in the same dialog.
  4. Without a key you can import, edit and review. Only exporting (XML / SRT etc.) requires activation.
  5. The license is checked automatically once a day. Without internet it keeps working for 7 days after the last successful check.
  6. If you cancel your subscription, you can keep using the app until the end of the period you have paid for.

4. Basic use

Without a script (simplest)

  1. Click "New", then choose one video file or a folder of videos.
  2. Check "No script" (for English videos, set the language to English).
  3. Wait for processing. A 4-minute video takes roughly 1–2 minutes with an NVIDIA GPU.
  4. Review and edit the subtitles (fix text, split / merge lines, adjust timing).
  5. Click "Export" to create Premiere XML or SRT.

With a script

Select your script (txt / PowerPoint / Word) together with the videos. Subtitles follow your script and retakes are joined automatically.

Everything written in your script becomes a subtitle. Please delete production notes (such as "3 sec BGM") and any text you do not want as subtitles from the script beforehand.

5. Troubleshooting

"License key not found"Paste the key from your purchase email exactly (watch for extra spaces).
"Reached the limit of 2 PCs"Use "Deactivate this PC" on another PC, then activate again.
"Expired"Your subscription has ended. Renew it and the same key works again.
The window does not openAttach a photo of the black window's message to your email to us.

6. Uninstalling

  1. Delete the CapDemon folder.
  2. To remove settings and caches, delete %LOCALAPPDATA%\CapDemon (GPU components are stored there).
  3. To remove the models, delete the folders starting with models--Systran-- in %USERPROFILE%\.cache\huggingface\hub.
  4. If you plan to use the key on another PC, click "Deactivate this PC" first.
